In an effort to re-engage clients and prospects across its Louisiana-based Commercial, Business Banking, and Retail segments, Capital One sponsored a high-touch LSU Tailgate during the 2022 football season. With a diverse audience—from CEOs to small business owners—and lingering COVID-19 concerns, the challenge was to create compelling event collateral that would drive attendance, build trust, and position Capital One as a dependable, locally invested partner.
Our creative solution—Capital One’s MVP Experience—celebrated clients as the stars of game day, rolling out the “purple carpet” with first-class food, drinks, and a coveted bird’s-eye-view location. Designed to tap into LSU pride, the work reflected the homegrown spirit shared by Capital One and the Baton Rouge fanbase. Clear messaging and thoughtful brand touchpoints addressed safety concerns and logistical clarity, reinforcing Capital One’s commitment to hospitality, safety and security. Our approach helped reinforce the brand’s presence as both a trusted financial partner and a proud, engaged supporter of the local banking community.
